She became interested in making wire jewelry about 2 years ago. I did not do it all the time, but only when inspiration came. I bought her some tools, the most common ones that are sold in any hardware store.
We also buy copper wire at the construction market or at a flea market. Sizes commonly used are 0.3mm to 1mm. The wire is not cheap, about 800-1000 rubles per kilogram, but its consumption is very small, so it lasts for a long time.
He also uses fine sandpaper, from 800 numbers to 2000, and also GOI paste. To give the copper a shine. Well, and ammonia, to darken the copper and give it an antique look.
She orders various stones, beads, rhinestones on Aliexpress. There is a huge selection and prices are adequate.
First I made patterns that I found on the Internet, then I began to draw some of my sketches and sketches.
Of course, the first works were far from ideal, and now she does it much better and smoother. But, people who saw such decorations live were delighted and wanted to buy and even made orders.
But my wife did not always want to sell, since the work was "raw", and there was no task to earn money on jewelry. She did it for herself, for the soul, or as a gift to her friends.
Over time, her work became more complex, serious, even, neat and looked more presentable.
In this case, as I think, there is no limit to perfection. You can make jewelry all your life and always learn new techniques and techniques.
As for me, this is a rather interesting activity, where you can earn even good money, somewhere in European countries, but not here in Kyrgyzstan. Our markets are flooded with cheap Chinese stampings, and people rarely understand what handwork is.
This hobby does not require large investments. According to my calculations:
· About 800 rubles for the instrument;
· Wire 1500 rubles (you can take different grams of 200);
· 300 rubles stones will be enough to start;
· Sandpaper, ammonia 300 rubles.
Total, for about 3000 rubles, you can start making wire jewelry. If possible, this figure can be reduced by almost half.
