Hello, hello dear friends!
What do you think can be made from a glass bottle and simple glasses? You can make a gorgeous, beautiful juice or wine set as you please. We made a small set of a bottle and 2 glasses, but you can make at least 6 or more people.
The bottle can be used in any suitable or simply beautiful shape. We have a bottle of wine. Glasses can be taken at least faceted, or smooth-walled, it does not matter.
For manufacturing we used materials:
· Glass bottle and glasses;
· Nail polish remover;
· Acrylic paints;
· Paper tape (3cm wide);
· Kraft paper;
· Candle or lighter;
· PVA glue, hot glue;
· Lace;
· Decorative plastic leaves and flowers;
· Acrylic lacquer.
You can choose decorative plastic leaves and flowers to your taste, they are sold in a craft store. Kraft paper can be replaced with another one. For example, in bags of putty, there is another 1 bag inside, which is made of very similar paper, which is perfect for this purpose.
Step 1.
Remove all labels and stickers from the bottle. Wipe with nail polish remover and prime with white acrylic paint. Leave to dry for 1-2 hours.
Step 2.
While the bottle dries, let's take care of the glasses. We wrap the upper part of the glasses with paper tape, paint the rest with acrylic paint. Dry.
Step 3.
We tear the craft paper into small pieces. The more curved the edges, the better. Burn the edges of the pieces a little over the candles or lighter.
Step 4.
We glue the bottle with pieces of paper with PVA glue. We overlap, chaotically.
Step 5.
Remove the tape from the glasses and glue the painted part with pieces of paper.
Step 6.
We didn't have the right color cord on hand, so we just painted it in acrylic paint. If you have the color you want, you can skip this step. Leave the cord to dry completely.
Step 7.
When the cord was dry, they glued it to the bottle with hot glue, "drawing" different patterns. They were also glued to glasses.
Step 8.
We glued decorative leaves and flowers.
Step 9.
With bronze acrylic paint, we went a little over the laces, leaves and flowers.
Step 10.
Covered 2 times with acrylic varnish.
The set is ready, you can pour juice into it and put it on the table.
It can be gently washed in warm water, tried it yourself. Such a set, of course, will not be used every day, but sometimes, for example, on holidays. So you don't have to wash it often, therefore, with careful use, it will last a long time.
