Hello dear friends!
Some time ago I wrote an article about decor made of plastic spoons, forks and other materials. Someone liked our work, some didn't, which is quite normal. Today I want to show you what kind of decor we made from a mirror, cocktail tubes and other materials.
Everything is so simple that, perhaps, even a child can cope. Manufacturing does not take much time and no expensive materials are needed.
For manufacturing we used:
· Small round mirror;
· Cocktail tubes;
· Corrugated cardboard;
· Hot glue;
· Nail polish remover;
· Scissors;
· Thick thread and a piece of wine cork;
· Paint in a spray can;
· Openwork braid.
Step 1.
Cut 2 circles out of corrugated cardboard. One is the size of a mirror, the other is based on the size of your mirror + 3cm on each side.
Step 2.
On the first circle, glue the mirror with hot glue.
Step 3.
On a large circle, in the center, glue the first circle with a mirror.
Step 4.
We take cocktail tubes, about 100 pieces, and cut off the corrugated part.
Step 5.
We begin to glue the tubes to the cardboard.
Cut the tubes in half and glue the second row, on top of the first, through one.
We cut the short tubes in half and glue the third row.
Step 6.
On the back side we glue a loop of thick thread and over it we glue a piece of wine cork so that the loop holds tight.
Step 7.
We paint the craft from the back with silver paint from a spray can.
Cover the mirror with a cut-out piece of paper and paint it too.
We paint the openwork ribbon with the same paint.
Step 8.
Using a nail polish remover and a piece of cotton wool, remove paint spraying from the mirror along the edges.
Step 9.
We glue the lace ribbon around the mirror with hot glue.
A very simple decor is ready, you can hang it on the wall.
