Hello, friends!
Today I will show you what kind of creative kitchen craft I made with my own hands in a few hours from a cheap frying pan. In fact, I was wandering around the supermarket and saw a sale of pans that cost 200 rubles. I immediately got the idea to make a kitchen clock out of it.
For making, I used:
· Frying pan;
· Screwdriver with drills;
· Clockwork;
Isolon or cardboard;
· Superglue and PVA glue;
· Nail polish;
· Wood beads;
· Nail polish remover.
Here's how much it cost me to make such a watch:
Frying pan - 200 rubles. Clockwork - 100 rubles. Varnish, glue, liquid, gone drop by drop, I don't think. Beads can be replaced with anything, I will not count them either. Izolon can also be replaced with a piece of cardboard.
Izolon is a material from which growth flowers are often made. It looks like foamiran, only thick.
Total spent 300 rubles, let's say, throw another 50, equal to 350 rubles. In our market for 350 rubles they sell the cheapest, unpretentious watch. And then it turns out to be exclusive.
Step 1.
I drilled the bottom of the pan, in the center, first with a thin drill, then enlarged the hole to the desired diameter with a larger drill.
Installed the clockwork.
Step 2.
On the Internet, in Yandex pictures, I found the numbers I needed and translated them onto paper. Cut out and glued to the isolon on PVA. Left for 20 minutes.
Step 3.
Cut out the numbers and removed the paper.
Step 4.
I painted the numbers with nail polish. That's how I did it.
Step 5.
I took some wooden beads and cut them in half with a clerical knife.
Step 6.
I divided the pan into 4 equal parts to glue the numbers evenly.
Step 7.
I glued numbers and beads to the pan using superglue.
I put the hands in place, put the battery on and the clock came to life!
