Friends, hello!
In this article, I want to show you how you can make a chic element of home decor from an ordinary disposable plate and some other materials. You won't need expensive materials, and if you are doing crafts, then you probably already have all these materials, well, or most of them.
So what we need:
· Disposable flat plate;
· Decoupage napkin;
· Eggshell;
· Brush;
· PVA glue;
· A piece of soft wire;
· A piece from a wine cork;
· Acrylic paints;
· Acrylic lacquer.
As you can see, the materials are simple and affordable. Our plate is not plastic, but either made of dense foam or some kind of cardboard.
Step 1.
The plate was painted once with white acrylic paint and dried.
Step 2.
From the decoupage napkin they pulled out with their hands (with their hands, not with scissors, so the transition from the napkin to the plate will not be visible) the drawing they liked.
Glued it to the center of the plate on PVA diluted with water in half. Attached the picture to the plate and began to apply glue from the center to the edges, gently expelling air bubbles and smoothing out wrinkles.
Step 3.
While the napkin is drying, you can prepare the eggshells for work. If you don't have one ready yet, then you can see how best to do it in this video:

We glue the eggshell around the picture. We glue not diluted, thick PVA. It is convenient to work with a toothpick, pushing the shell apart.
After the shell dries for a couple of hours, it is worth once again covering it on top with diluted glue to secure it.
Step 4.
We paint the shell with white acrylic paint. If the shell is light in color, then 1-2 layers of paint are enough. If it is dark, then you will have to paint it 2-3 times.
Step 5.
Using different colors, they painted the entire shell. You can use any color that you like best and which suits your decoupage napkin better.
Step 6.
Covered the entire plate with acrylic varnish 2 times. It is best to use a soft brush for this, and apply the varnish in one direction.
Step 7.
A loop of soft copper wire was glued to the back of the plate. Instead of wire, you can use, for example, jute twine.
The back side was also painted bronze.
The decor is ready, you can place it on the wall.
