Plastic bottles are wonderful, free craft supplies. How many interesting things you can make of them! And today I will show you how to make a romantic vase from a plastic bottle.
This craft is very simple and does not take much time to make. And, as I think, almost any person can handle it.
The following materials are needed for manufacturing:
· Plastic bottle (for example, from cola 2 l);
· Sewing meter, knife, scissors, pencil;
· Acrylic paint, white;
· Hot glue;
· Openwork ribbons of different widths;
· Decorative flowers;
· Beads;
· Bow.
Well, we figured out the materials, now let's start manufacturing.
Step 1.
We measured about 9 cm from the bottom of the bottle and drew a line around the bottle. Cut off the desired part.
Step 2.
The top of the bottle was also cut off along the top line of the label.
Step 3.
Painted both parts of the bottle with white acrylic paint and left to dry completely.
Step 4.
Using a desiccap (or something else), draw the curves on the top of the bottle and cut them out.
Step 5.
Using hot glue, we glued various lace ribbons.
Hot glue should be squeezed out quite a bit, otherwise the plastic will melt and warp it.
Step 6.
Small flowers were glued to the bottom of the bottle, where the recesses are.
Step 7.
We pasted half-beads in some places and glued a bow.
Step 8.
Glued together both parts of the vase.
Done!
Of course, you cannot put large flowers in such a vase, but, for example, snowdrops or other small bunch, it is quite possible. And also, you can use this vase for decorative purposes, as we do.
