Hello dear friends!
We love to make various vases with our own hands. How many have already been redone and how much more we will do. Today I want to share with you what kind of vase we got from a glass bottle from wine and other materials.
We are often asked where do we put all our crafts? The answer is, we keep a small part for ourselves, distribute the rest and give away to those who like them.
This is our hobby, which brings a lot of pleasure from the manufacturing process itself, well, and our earnings. No, we do not sell our crafts, but only shoot videos that we post on our YouTube channel, and here I am writing articles on our videos. This is what brings a good income.
To make a vase, we needed:
· Glass bottle with a wide neck;
· Thinner or nail polish remover;
· Acrylic paints;
· Thin foamiran;
· Scissors, pencil, brushes, office paper;
· PVA glue, hot glue;
· Openwork ribbon;
· Acrylic lacquer;
· Several beads.
We did not buy materials specifically for this vase. We are constantly doing some kind of crafts. And this vase took very little paint, foamiran and varnish. And, such a vase can hardly be found in a store.
Step 1.
The bottle was degreased with solvent and primed with white acrylic paint. They left to dry for about 1 hour.
Step 2.
Leaves and flowers were drawn on plain office paper and cut out. It's not difficult, but, nevertheless, if you can't, you can download templates from the Internet.
Step 3.
They circled the templates on a thin foamiran with a toothpick and cut out.
Step 4.
We glued all the cut out parts from foamiran to the bottle. Glued on PVA.
Step 5.
An openwork ribbon was glued to the neck of the bottle.
Step 6.
Painted the entire bottle with black acrylic paint.
When the black paint was dry, green and white were added.
Step 7.
Covered the vase 2 times with acrylic varnish.
Step 8.
When the varnish has dried well, we glued several beads.
A chic vase is ready.
