Greetings to all readers of my channel!

An old Soviet lampshade was lying around in the garage, which was a pity to throw away and did not want to use, since it had lost all its appearance. We decided to give him a second life, embellish and update a little. And that's what we got out of it.

To update, we used:

· Acrylic paints;

· Acrylic lacquer;

· Hot glue;

· Decorative plastic flowers.

Such a lampshade will be very useful in a nursery for a girl, for example. But, you can always choose a design for any room that you want more. The main thing is to include imagination.

Step 1.

We removed the bottom fringe and peeled off the fabric from the bottom of the frame. Since we will dye the fabric, it will lead it a little, then we will stretch it.

Step 2.

We painted the lampshade outside with a pale pink color, and inside with a darker one.

As I wrote at the beginning, you can choose any color that you like best.

After the paint had dried, the lampshade was covered with acrylic varnish. Now you can safely wipe it with a damp cloth.

Step 3.

After the paint had dried well, the fabric was stretched over the frame. Hot glue was used for fixing. Since we will be using energy-saving light bulbs that do not get very hot, the hot glue will not suffer in any way.

This is how we pulled the fabric.

Step 4.

Now let's decorate the lampshade a little. We took plastic flowers and glued them with hot glue.

Flowers were pasted in a circle at the top and bottom, and a few more in the center.

The lampshade is ready, you can hang it.
