Today there will be a craft from a plastic cake box. The craft is simple, expensive materials are not needed, and the process itself is very interesting.
We made it in a dark color, as we like best, but you can paint it the way you like best.
For the manufacture of materials used:
· Cake box;
· Marker, scissors, masking tape, brushes, pencil;
· Regular napkins;
· PVA glue and hot glue;
· Jute twine;
· Dry peas;
· Wine cork;
· Acrylic paints and acrylic varnish.
A huge request to those who are far from needlework, pass by, do not waste your time on this craft and writing offensive (do not confuse insults with constructive, polite criticism) comments, be cleverer.
Step 1.
Cut the lid from the box in half.
Cut off the "ears" from the bottom of the box.
Step 2.
We fasten both parts of the box together with paper tape.
Step 3.
We tear the napkins into 2-4 parts, wrinkle and glue the box. We leave for 5-6 hours so that the napkins dry.
Step 4.
Draw on the box the patterns you like best. And we glue jute twine on hot glue according to these patterns.
With the same twine we make edging.
Step 5.
We glue several halves of dry peas.
Step 6.
Cut off a 3-4 mm thick circle from the wine cork and glue a loop of jute twine from the back of the box.
We glue the circle from the cork over the loop, so it will hold much better.
Step 7.
Paint the entire box with black acrylic paint.
When dry, walked a little green (this is not necessary).
And at the end they tinted it with a bronze color.
Step 8.
We cover with acrylic varnish.
And you're done!
