Dear friends, hello everyone!
We have already done several crafts using plastic spoons and many people liked them (I will leave a link to them at the end of the article). Today I will show you another interesting decor made of spoons, cardboard and a mirror. It will be interesting, go ahead!
For manufacturing we needed:
· Plastic spoons;
· Corrugated cardboard;
· PVA glue and hot glue;
· Small round mirror;
· Napkins (optional);
· Wine cork and thick thread;
· Scissors, brushes;
· Spray paint and acrylic paint;
· Universal varnish in a spray can;
· Openwork ribbon.
It took us about 120 spoons, but their number depends on the diameter of the circle. You can do less or vice versa, more. Napkins are glued to the back, but this is not necessary at all.
Step 1.
Crumpled napkins were glued onto a circle made of corrugated cardboard (I don't remember the exact size already).
When the napkins were dry, they glued a loop of thick thread, and on top a piece from a wine cork.
Step 2.
Glue a smaller one to the center of the large circle, and a PVA mirror on it.
Step 3.
We cut off the handles of the spoons.
We glue several rows in a circle in a checkerboard pattern.
Step 4.
We close the mirror with newspaper and tape. We paint with paint from a spray can in any color you like. We have blue.
We tint some of the spoons with a different color, for example, blue, acrylic paint.
Step 5.
We paint an openwork ribbon and glue it around the mirror.
Step 6.
We cover with universal varnish from a spray can.
That's all, a simple decor is ready.
