I had a couple of pieces of plastic pipes lying around, and I made a chic garden decor out of them.

Hello friends and guests of the channel!

Continuing the theme of garden crafts, I want to show you today how I made decorative birds for the garden from sewer plastic pipes a couple of years ago. It turned out quite interesting and looks very cool!

For making it came in handy for me:

· Plastic pipes 110mm and 160mm;

· A4 paper, marker, ruler, paper glue;

· Scissors, scotch tape;

Dremel;

· Sandpaper;

· Building hair dryer;

· A pair of wood cuts;

· Self-tapping screws, screwdriver;

· Solvent;

· Acrylic paints;

· Varnish spray in a can.

I will not delay, let's go!

Step 1.

I drew a template, thinking about how the scan should look.

Step 2.

Glued together 6 sheets of A4 office paper.

Step 3.

I folded the paper in half lengthwise, drew a scan of the bird and cut it out.

Step 4.

On a pipe with a diameter of 160mm I glued a template with tape and outlined it with a marker.

I drew my legs.

I did the same with the 110 pipe.

I want to warn you right away, you can make 2 birds from 1 piece of pipe. And yet, a bird from a thin pipe is not very stable, since the plastic there is very thin. But from 160 pipes it turns out just fine! I recommend doing it out of it.

Step 5.

With the help of a dremel, I cut out future birds. You can use a grinder with a small disc.

That's how I did it.

Processed with sandpaper.

Step 6.

Using a construction hair dryer, I gave the necessary bends to the plastic. The hair dryer can be replaced with a burner or heated over a gas or electric stove.

Step 7.

I screwed the birds to wood cuts with self-tapping screws.

Step 8.

The birds were wiped with thinner and painted with white acrylic paint using a small roller.

Step 9.

After the paint was dry, I painted the beak, legs and drew eyes with a marker.

Step 10.

I covered the birds with spray varnish in 2 layers.

Here's a decor for the garden I got.
