Dear friends, hello!
Today there will be a simple craft for the house from ordinary napkins. And it is simple, because even a beginner in needlework can repeat it. Moreover, for its manufacture you do not need any expensive materials or tools.
For manufacturing you will need:
· The cheapest paper napkins;
· A small towel or just a rag;
· Liter can;
· Polyethylene and scotch tape;
· Pin;
· PVA glue or other;
· Acrylic paints and acrylic varnish.
Step 1.
Wet the towel and wring it out so that it is damp but not too wet.
Put the napkin on the towel and press down slightly. The napkin gets wet and becomes, as it were, plastic. We roll it into a tube. We also do the second.
To make a long rope of napkins, you need to connect them together like this.
Step 2.
After twisting 3 long ropes, weave a pigtail from them. For convenience, we fix one end with a clothespin.
When the ropes come to an end, add more napkins and weave further.
Step 3.
We wrap a liter jar (or another) with polyethylene and fix it with tape.
Step 4.
We begin to twist the pigtail into a pancake, gluing it onto PVA.
Next, we put it on the jar and weave it around.
Step 5.
We dilute PVA glue with water 1: 1 and brush the pigtail with a brush.
Leave to dry for 5-8 hours.
Step 6.
While the napkins are not completely dry, remove the jar. If you overexpose, then it will be very difficult to take out the jar.
Leave to dry for another day.
Step 7.
We paint with acrylic paints, in any color that we like best.
Step 8.
We cover with acrylic varnish for 2 times.
The result is such a vase, as if knitted.
We pour water and put flowers.
