Greetings, dear friends!
I hasten to share with you a very easy-to-make wall decor made of foam balls and skewers. You can make such a decor in 1 evening, there is nothing complicated.
For making, I used:
· Foam balls;
· Foam hemisphere;
· Wooden skewers;
· Gold acrylic paint;
· Knife, sponge, hot glue.
Balls can be bought at craft stores or ordered on Aliexpress. Spray paint will not work, it corrodes the foam, so I painted it by hand with water-based acrylic paint. If you find paint in spray cans that does not corrode foam, then things will go even faster.
You choose the number of skewers and the size of the balls at your discretion, as well as the color of the paint.
Step 1.
I sharpened the skewers from the blunt side with a clerical knife.
Step 2.
I painted the hemisphere, it is more convenient to paint with a piece of foam rubber, so there will be no streaks.
Step 3.
I put the balls on the skewers. I painted balls and skewers with acrylic paint.
Step 4.
I broke off a bottle opener from a jar of drink. On the back of the hemisphere, I dug a recess and glued the opener into it.
Step 5.
I stuck the balls on the skewers into the hemisphere.
