Do you like pickled cabbage? If yes, then this recipe will not leave you indifferent! With this simple recipe, you can forget about the traditional pickles, which have to wait a very long time. Now you can get delicious pickled cabbage in just 4 days.

And its bright, sweet-salty, sharp and crunchy taste will delight you! After this recipe, you will no longer want to use others.

So what we need:

1 medium head of cabbage;

1 small pod of hot pepper

· 6 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;

And for brine for 1 liter of water:

1 tbsp. a spoonful of salt;

· 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;

We will salt in a 3-liter jar, so 2 liters of brine are needed, respectively, we multiply all the ingredients for the brine by 2.

1. Cut the cabbage into large pieces, discard the stump.

2. We put the cabbage in a jar in half.

3. Cut the pepper pod into rings and put it in a jar.

With one pepper, cabbage is obtained with a pronounced pungency and noticeably burns the tongue. If this is too much for you, then use half a pod. It is also worth considering that the hottest part in pepper is the seeds.

4. We fill the jar with the rest of the cabbage to the top.

5. Now we are preparing the brine. Add 2 tbsp for 2 liters of boiling water. tablespoons of salt and 4 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar. Pour hot brine into the jar, almost to the top, leaving some space for the oil.

6. Add 6 tbsp to the jar. tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix it so that it does not float in a continuous film.

7. We leave the jar of cabbage at room temperature for 4 days with the lid open.

After 4 days, we take out the cabbage from the jar and enjoy the crispy, spicy taste of juicy cabbage.
