• You will be prudent and will not forget that there is still enough free space under the benches space that will never be superfluous in the kitchen and will help to hide the less frequently used inventory.

Useful advice! If you are not a happy owner of a kitchen set with a bench, which happens quite rarely, then we advise you to think about ordering a separate production of a bench. Think carefully about the design and correlate it with the design of the rest of the furniture, the table, in the first place.

Determine the dimensions and don't forget to worry about additional storage space under the bench seat. Some people manage to provide additional storage space behind the backs of the bench in specially made-to-order shops.

There is only one rule here - the convenience of lifting the seat and fastening and reclining the back. A very good option is access to the inner "chambers" of the bench under the seat from the end.

Precautions

To be perfectly accurate, pay attention to some of the nuances:

• The material from which the bench will be made, its main "working" surface, of course, can be any. If leather seems too expensive for you, use a practical and cheap substitute.
• The design of the bench, its color scheme, should correspond to the overall design of the kitchen, whether it is a Hermes kitchen bench or a Mercury kitchen bench. But we recommend choosing dark, non-staining tones. Otherwise, you will have to constantly remind the children to be careful with chocolate, and catch a drop of ketchup on the fly from a tipsy guest. Non-rubbing marks are a perennial problem with light-colored kitchen furniture.
• When buying, ordering for manufacturing or even making a shop with your own hands, special attention should be paid to securely fastening its legs. This easy ability to quickly move the bench to any place can play a cruel joke - you cannot avoid breaking the legs that are not designed for constant movement. The legs should be provided with soft pads from below - and there are no marks on the floor and the neighbors will be happy.
