We make our own furniture from solid wood

We take into account all the details
When planning to make kitchen furniture from solid wood with your own hands, let's first recall some design nuances.
- Solid wood facades are very noble, but it is better to alternate them with open or glazed shelves that will illusoryly expand the kitchen.
- The lighting of the mezzanines above the wall cabinets is appropriate in a large and haute kitchen: it will give intimacy and comfort. But in low kitchens, this kind of light pushes the ceiling down.
- Corner wardrobes, one or two doors, regular or folding, and maybe with open niches with a standard depth of 60 cm, can be reduced to 30 centimeters. These cabinets will save space and make good use of the corner.
- After a month, the furniture can change the intensity of the shade: yellow will turn golden, later - amber-brown, and then cognac: so the wood is saturated with color from light.
- Laminate tabletop is more practical: more heat and moisture resistant, easier to maintain and restore. At the same time, the imitation of wood, marble and other natural materials on the laminate is very high quality.
- Accessories and fittings made of chrome, nickel or stainless steel are more reliable.
- The working triangle (washing, cooking, storage) dictates the optimal distance from the stove to the sink 60 - 90 cm, and from the sink to the refrigerator - 1.5 m.
- Let the height of the tables be 10 cm lower than our elbow. A solid wood kitchen should match these most convenient dimensions.
