One of the most important and large-sized pieces of kitchen furniture is a kitchen set, the choice of which often becomes a dilemma for its owner. Polish furniture groups are in the first echelon of foreign manufacturers for several reasons. Let's take a closer look at them.

Sustainability

  • The main material for the manufacture of a headset using Polish technology is MDF - completely environmentally friendly a product that is completely hypoallergenic and does not pose a threat to human health (see also the article on DIY MDF kitchen). It is made from small particles of wood, which are glued together by means of paraffin and lingin - products of natural origin.

Note! It should be noted that MDF could not always boast of such qualities as environmental friendliness and moisture resistance - plates, made according to the old technology, were the complete opposite of foreign counterparts, which were produced in more close past. Under heating, they emitted toxic fumes, and with a systematic ingress of moisture, they could break under their own weight.

  • The material for Polish furniture is made according to European standards and undergoes mandatory certification before it serves as the basis for its production. This guarantees a high level of quality and compliance with all the necessary manufacturing conditions.

Profitability

It's no secret that the quality is directly proportional to the cost of the final product, however, despite the fact that Poland is a foreign supplier - furniture groups of its production are considered one of the most economical offers today day. This is achieved through the rational distribution and use of consumables, the price which, by and large, is the determining factor in determining the cost of furniture (Learn about Tom, how to choose kitchen furniture).

As you know, MDF is a rather expensive material and if the entire set is made entirely of it, this will negatively affect its final cost. This problem was solved by using the combined assembly, which is a special approach to designing a kitchen set - it consists in using expensive materials only in the place where it's necessary.

For example, a less expensive chipboard can serve as the basis for the side and back walls of cabinets, and MDF is used only for the manufacture of front facing elements. Chipboard is also a much more suitable material for countertops - MDF is too soft for this purpose and any moderate mechanical impact can leave a dent on its surface.

Another feature of the Polish kitchen group is the release form - if you order a set from an existing design collection, it will be delivered to you disassembled. This configuration involves self-assembly and most often it comes with detailed instructions + video on how to do it. This allows you to significantly save money on the services of a specialist, which would cost you a fairly large amount.

Texture

Polish kitchen furniture is made of MDF and chipboard boards, which are covered with a special PVC coating - it gives it a decorative look and protects it from external influences.

Slab coating can be done in two ways:

  • Lamination - the boards are covered with paper-resin materials under high pressure. The coating made by this method has a uniform structure, as well as a moisture-resistant and refractory structure.
  • Postforming - for this type of coating, a laminate is used, which is able to withstand significant loads and has high strength. This is the most wear-resistant and durable coating of all available analogues.

Note! In addition to the above coating methods, there is also lamination - gluing the finishing film to the surface using an adhesive. The coating obtained in this way has a softer structure than the above-mentioned analogs, and therefore, it is practically not used for the manufacture of kitchen furniture.

In addition to combined kitchen furniture made of wood-containing materials, Polish manufacturers also produce furniture from solid wood. Most often, traditional wood is used for these purposes - beech, alder, pine, etc. In this regard, Polish chairs for the kitchen are distinguished by a completely affordable price, compared with other foreign counterparts.

Despite the predominance of traditional varieties - Polish producers, there are also concepts made from exotic wood species. For this purpose, such varieties are used as: wenge, ebony, mahogany and others - if you If you are a fan of exoticism, then you will undoubtedly be able to find a suitable texture on your own taste.

A distinctive feature of Polish exotic furniture is its combined multi-layer structure, which helps to reduce its cost without compromising its appearance. It is based on the use of precious wood veneer, which is used to decorate a less expensive base. Thus, the price of the product decreases significantly and at the same time its appearance does not undergo any major changes.
