• Spout length. If it is not enough, then the water falls on the edge of the sink. Long spouts reduce the comfort of using the mixer.

1. Brass. Most popular material. Having high strength, reliability and practicality affects the cost, which is quite high.
2. Stainless steel. Devices that are durable and relatively inexpensive.
3. Ceramics. Very nice faucets with one but serious drawback: ceramics is a very fragile material.
4. Bronze. Strong material, but not widely used.

• Cover material. The mixer body can be coated with several materials:

1. Chrome plated. It is one of the most common coating materials. Chromium does not allow microbes to multiply, it looks very beautiful and has an optimal margin of safety. The disadvantages include the fact that on the chrome-plated surface, such contaminants as fingerprints, soap stains, water drops, are very conspicuous.
2. Enamel coating. Outwardly it looks very nice, but it is not resistant to chips and mechanical damage.
3. Nickel plated. It also has a beautiful appearance, but it must be treated with caution, because it can cause allergies.
4. Plating for gold, platinum, marble or bronze. Very expensive and impractical coatings that are rarely used.
