Remember that the WD-40

It is not recommended to lubricate the following parts and elements with the VeDeshka, which many people love so much:
- parts of firearms;
- any locks;
- chains of mechanisms;
- brake pads;
- electrical wiring (otherwise the contacts may burn);
- transmissions with gears and teeth.
Do not use WD-40 in cases where long-term lubrication of parts is provided. Remember that it only provides a temporary lubrication effect and then evaporates. In addition, the formulation is too fluid to be a good lubricant. It is better to use solid oil or silicone.
Don't think that WD-40 is a panacea for everything. Yes, with its help you can quickly clean the contaminated surface, separate the rusted parts, but nothing more.
