It was found that on Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones, the new version of the Moscow Metro application completely kills the Troika card without the possibility of its recovery.
Yesterday I talked about the possibility of transferring balance and travel passes from a lost or damaged card in the Moscow Metro application (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1206199.html).
I successfully linked my Troika to the app on my Honor smartphone, but my brother was lucky smaller: while linking Troika to the app on the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone, the miracle app killed Three. This happened when the card was replenished for the specified amount.
The three is no longer readable by the application and you cannot enter the metro using it (the turnstile says "Card error"). In order to restore a card (or rather get a new one with a balance transfer), you will have to go somewhere to the only metro service center.
Most of all I liked the response of the developers to the review in the Play Market: “Yes, this really happens with Xiaomi / Redmi devices. We are dealing with this problem. " They understand. In such cases, decent developers immediately remove the malicious version of the application and install the old, workable version. But here, you see, the authorities were informed that they had rolled out the version with a personal account, and therefore there is still an application in the Play Market that kills Troikas.
P.S. Yesterday I saved the old version of the Moscow Metro application from my phone. It does not have a personal account and transfer of the Troika, but there is a display of the balance and travel cards and the ability to put money on the Troika. And most importantly, this version does not spoil Troika. If anyone needs it, I'll post it somewhere.
