Yesterday evening, three SMS from Sberbank came one after another: "Write-off of 790.00 RUB UNIT.CONTENTS".
I have the only free Sberbank card - Momentum (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1196325.html). I have never used it to pay (neither offline nor online). The card is mainly used to receive donations for my projects Lamptest.ru and Elerus.ru, respectively, on these sites its number is published.
When I was talking about this map, I published this photo.
The card number on it is real (what's the point of hiding it when it is published on websites), and the validity period (Valid thru) has been changed.
Thus, no one, except Sberbank himself, could know the date and CVV-code of this card. When I received these three messages, I was surprised, but nothing more - there is still no money on this card (as soon as something appears, I immediately transfer it to other banks).
I asked in a chat in the Sberbank-Online application what it could be. They didn't answer. They just blocked it right there. :)
I wonder what it was. Someone, seeing my card number somewhere on the Internet, entered it somewhere with an arbitrary expiration date and CVV code, hoping for luck? Even if he knew both the date and the CVV, what's the point, because I received an SMS with a code, without which payment is still impossible. It is strange that there were three codes with an interval of only a few seconds.
But this is not the end of the story. Today we received two SMS from Sber that someone is trying to register with Sberbank Online. I called 900, heroically broke through the robots and the disastrously stupid first line of support, and everything that the anti-fraud specialist did was turn off the Mobile Bank.
Apparently, knowing the card number, any "pioneer" can request a change of the Sberbank-Online password.
Today I went to the office, issued a new card and tied it to a separate phone number. Now I will not publish the card number, everywhere there will be only a phone number through which it will be possible to transfer money from both Sberbank and SBP. I just didn't decide whether to write it in text or make it in the form of a picture so that the robots could not read it.
