Several secrets of the Belarusian method of growing cucumbers. Its main feature is that seedlings are not required. The seeds are planted directly into the prepared soil.

Site preparation

It should be suitable for green plants - well lit and not located where excess water accumulates. The soil should be loose and fertile. Only in this case the seeds will sprout quickly, young shoots will gain strength in a short time. The beds are made small, about two meters long and seventy centimeters wide. The soil is first dug onto a shovel bayonet and then leveled with a rake.

Getting started with seeds

Use only healthy seeds. They are determined for full weight as follows:

  • table salt is taken (fifty grams per one liter of water);
  • seeds are dipped into it;
  • after a while, the lungs float along the top, and those suitable for sowing lie at the bottom.

Before sowing, the selected material is washed under running water.

To accelerate the emergence of seedlings, the seeds are poured with water at room temperature. She has to close them. Leave until complete swelling. It takes about twelve hours.

The next stage is germination. The seeds are scattered in a warm place and covered with burlap. After five percent of the material has hatched, germination is complete.

Landing

Plant should be staggered. The wells should be spaced sixty centimeters apart. The depth of the holes is at least ten centimeters. In each hole, one large handful of humus is placed + two tablespoons of wood ash (sift) + a handful of fertile soil. Mix everything thoroughly, pour boiling water over it. Wait ten minutes.
