Important: For alteration, only those TVs are suitable for which the wooden (!) Frame has survived. And the larger it is, the more spacious the shelf will be.

The inside of the frame, freed from parts, must be painted with paint. | Photo: youtube.com/ © Shabby-Chic.

Before starting the conversion, the TV should be cleaned of dust and dirt, remove all the elements inside the frame. For transformation, you only need its outer shell. The inside of the frame can be painted white or in some other color, it all depends on preferences and the place where the shelf will be located.

While the paint dries, you can search or create legs. If there are no old furniture with high legs left in the house, then it is easy to make them yourself. To do this, you can purchase the desired size of the slats or dissolve the existing board into 4 equal segments, making a small bevel.

To increase the usable area of the mini-rack, it is advisable to install an internal shelf, which can also be cut from the board. It is up to each master to paint it or not, but the surface and all sections must also be carefully sanded. It remains only to make the markings and fix the shelf supports on the inner side walls. For this, the spouses used small corners (4 pieces), you can also screw on narrow slats, they will perfectly cope with the task.

Now you should think about how to close the back wall. For this, thin plywood, chipboard or thick cardboard are suitable. The material that is in stock is cut to size and put in order. If it was a new plywood with a beautiful natural pattern, the authors of Novate.ru advise you to simply open it with varnish, in all other cases, it is better to glue the wall with wallpaper, the remnants of which are probably in the bins of each families.
