Basic rules for the formation of a flower garden

Experienced gardeners follow some rules:

1. The combination of colors in shades, sizes and shapes.
2. Planting plants of similar shades, but different in shape.
3. Take into account the time of the appearance of flowers (this is especially important for a flower bed of continuous flowering).
4. Height. The tall ones are planted in the center of the composition, the undersized ones form a border.
5. Stocking density. More rare in the middle, along the edge - ground cover.
