I quote the text of the question from reader Vladimir verbatim:

Good day! There is a problem. How can I properly connect the wires to the double switch for the light and the extractor hood in the bathroom?

I considered the issue and advised Vladimir within the framework of my knowledge and qualifications as follows:

Hello!

As I understand it correctly, you want to power the lighting and ventilation from the two-button switch, so that each of them can be switched on independently by means of the corresponding button. Then the connection of the two-button switch to the light and the hood must be done according to the following scheme:

As you can see in the figure above, from the junction box you need to bring the phase conductor to the switch.

Then, from each of the keys, lay a separate line for the lighting system and the room forced ventilation system.

The neutral conductor from the junction box must be routed directly to the lighting system and to the fan. In this case, this is done by two independent conductors, which in advance increases the reliability of the entire system.

Protective grounding is connected with a separate conductor to each consumer without fail, connecting them with a loop is unacceptable for reasons of your own safety.

The junction box, like the switch itself in the bathroom, is best located in an adjacent room at the entrance, if it is requirement cannot be met, ensure sufficient moisture protection IP, depending on the area installation.
