When I put on the apartment switchboard, it seemed that twelve modules were more than enough, now I understand that I should have set it to at least 18.
Practice has shown that it is very inconvenient when there is only one RCD for the whole apartment.
Just in case you don't know what an RCD is and why it must be in every home, read here: https://ammo1.livejournal.com/20908.html .
A food waste disposer leaked somewhere and the RCD began to turn off sometimes. This turns off the computer, and if there were, for example, long-term battery tests, they have to start anew, and untested batteries go to scrap. Of course, I connected UPS, but it's better to solve the problem in a different way.
I thought that it would be right for the apartment to have at least two RCDs: on a wet area (kitchen, bathroom, washing machine) and on a dry area (sockets, light). And even better three (the third - for the refrigerator, router, video surveillance, computer).
I now have an UZM at the entrance (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/224208.html
), then one common RCD, at the output of which two machines are connected, supplying electricity to devices that always work (one for the refrigerator, the second for a computer, a router, video surveillance and automation). All other consumers of electricity are connected through a contactor that turns off when no one is at home (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1212000.html ).In my case, the easiest way is to "hang" the refrigerator, computer and everything else that always works on one 10 A difavtomat, and use the RCD for everything else.
By the way, now there are narrow single-module RCDs and difavtomats (RCD + machine in one device).
Moral: when there is one RCD in the apartment, everything is fine until it starts to "knock out" due to leaks in any electrical appliance. And when this happens in the evening, it is rather unpleasant (the light will also turn off).
It is better that there are several RCDs or difavtomats (I think that two or three are quite enough).
