As a rule, these scrapers have a telescopic design and are made of aluminum. The length of the device reaches 5 meters. The top of the scraper needs to hook a layer of snow, and then throw it down.
The option, it would seem, is not bad, if not for its high cost. Yes, and to be honest, I've read a lot of negative reviews about these scrapers.
For example, some users note the flimsy of the device. They need to work very carefully, especially if the layer of snow has already packed and has become quite dense.
Also note that the design of store scrapers is not suitable for everyone. If the roof is shallow, covered with soft material, then it is more difficult to throw off snow from it, because it will reliably adhere to the roof. Then there is a risk of breaking the scraper during the first use.
Scrapers are also sold that have a canvas in their design that allows you to dump snow from high roofs (photo above).
The device divides the layer of snow into small pieces, which easily slide down the smooth canvas made of synthetic material.
When working with such a scraper, you need to be extremely careful, otherwise the snow may fall on you.
The device is more versatile, but it also costs more, starting from 3,500 rubles.
The last option for the most economical is to make a scraper with your own hands. If you approach the matter wisely, the tool will turn out to be no worse than the store one (photos above and below).
