Place for planting mushrooms

It is preferable to grow mushrooms in the shade or partial shade. For example, under the crown of a spreading tree. The composition of the soil does not matter.

The landing site is pre-prepared:

  1. Take logs with a diameter of at least 25 cm. They prefer maple, ash, birch, poplar, oak.
  2. Soak in warm water for a day.
  3. Arbitrarily spread in the chosen place.
  4. Notches are made 7 cm deep and sprinkled with soil.
  5. Pour infusion with mycelium.

It is best to grow mushrooms in a greenhouse, as they love heat and high humidity. Growth is accelerated in the greenhouse and it is possible to harvest a rich and tasty harvest.

Old stumps in the garden are also suitable for growing.

Growing

There are several effective ways to grow honey agarics in the country:

  • in greenhouses and hotbeds;
  • on the site on old stumps or wood blanks;
  • in the basement;
  • in banks.

In the greenhouse

You do not need to make a separate greenhouse for mushrooms; those designs that already exist will do. A saw cut with spores is placed in the corner and watered abundantly. Mushrooms coexist with any vegetable crops, having no influence on their development.

In the basement

A room for growing mushrooms is well ventilated and heated in winter.

The growing substrate is made from the following components:

  • sawdust;
  • seed husks;
  • chopped straw;
  • foliage of trees.

Landing:

  1. The selected material is disinfected from mold and pests: soaked for 12 hours in boiling water.
  2. Add ready-made mycelium according to the instructions or spill it with self-prepared liquid.
  3. Mix thoroughly.
  4. The resulting mixture is placed in polyethylene bags with a volume of 5 to 50 kg.
  5. Suspended or stacked on a rack.
  1. After 4 days, 6 cm holes are made in each bag.

After 21 days, mushrooms will appear in the slots.

For active growth of honey agarics in the room, maintain a humidity of at least 85% and a temperature of 18 ° C.

In the bank

The method is suitable for those who do not have summer cottages, since the jar is placed on a windowsill or balcony.

Prepare the substrate:

  1. Hardwood sawdust - 3 parts.
  2. Bran - 1 part.

Stir, fill the jar and sterilize in boiling water for an hour.

After the mixture has cooled, recesses are made to the bottom with a long, clean stick. Mycelium is placed in them. Then close with a lid with holes, put wet cotton on top (to maintain high humidity).

The container is placed in a dark, warm place. Make sure that the cotton wool remains wet.

Reproduction

Ready-made mushroom planting material is purchased in specialized stores or harvested independently.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Old mushrooms are found and collected in the forest.
  2. The hats are cut into small pieces.
  3. Soaked in rainwater.
  4. Insist for 5 hours.
  5. The container is shaken every hour.

After 5 hours, pre-prepared wood is spilled with liquid. The hats are laid out on top and covered with moss or sawdust.

After planting, it is periodically spilled with soft, settled water. They try to make sure that it does not dry out. Especially in dry and hot weather.

The first crop will appear in 2 years.

The second way of growing is from wood with mycelium. To do this, they find a tree with mushrooms in the forest, make a saw cut and take it to their summer cottage. Then they are nailed to a wooden blank. Water often and abundantly. This makes it possible for the mycelium to grow into a home garden.

The log house is harvested with a diameter of no more than 20 cm It will serve as the basis for growing honey agarics for 7 years.

Honey mushrooms are one of the most popular mushrooms. Now they can not only be collected in the forest, but also grown on their own at their summer cottage. Summer and winter varieties of these mushrooms are unpretentious in cultivation and do not require much time.
