Hello friends!
I don't know about you, but I really love cookies, especially oatmeal. I used to take it in stores, until I tried one interesting, affordable and very tasty recipe for cookies, after that I stopped buying them in the store.
Time-tested classic oatmeal cookie recipe. The cookies turn out to be very soft and aromatic, and a few tricks in this video will save you from mistakes.
Here are the ingredients you need:
1. 100g butter (always at room temperature);
2. 100g sugar;
3. 1 chicken egg;
4. 180g oatmeal (which does not require cooking);
5. 1 teaspoon baking powder.
And here is the recipe step by step:
Step 1.
Put the butter and sugar in a large cup and knead with a fork until smooth. Then add the egg and mix again.
Step 2.
Grind the oatmeal in a coffee grinder. Add baking powder to the crushed flakes and mix dry.
Step 3.
Pour the ground oatmeal into the butter and sugar and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous dough is obtained. At this point, you can add nuts or raisins to taste.
We send the dough to the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 4.
After the refrigerator, cover the baking sheet with baking paper. Roll up small balls from the dough and put them on a baking sheet at a distance of 6-7 cm from each other.
Step 5.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. We bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, on a shelf, a little closer to the top.
For crisper cookies, bake 5 minutes longer.
