No one will refuse to eat well! Especially when it comes to the use of such a popular delicacy in the domestic space as lard. The latter can be prepared in a variety of ways. One of the more interesting methods is of course canning. Thanks to him, there is a chance to get a hearty snack in your refrigerator for any season and occasion.
Ingredients: 2 kg of any fat (preferably with a meat slot), 1 liter of water, 200 g of salt, 4-5 cloves of garlic, 2 bay leaves, 8 black peppercorns, 4 allspice peas
Snack preparation process
The first step to making a hearty and tasty snack is to prepare the right pickle. We need to take 1 liter of clean water into a saucepan and add 200 grams of salt to it. The mixture is brought to a boil, stirring regularly with a spoon. While the brine is preparing, you can proceed to the second step. To do this, we take the prepared bacon and cut it into pieces so that they fit into liter jars without tamping. Most often, 2 kg of bacon can be packed exactly in two liter jars.
The third step is spices. In each container with bacon, 2-3 cloves of garlic are placed, 2 allspice peas and 4 black peppercorns. Immediately after that, the jars are filled with brine and covered (but not closed!) With a lid. When all of the above is done, carefully compose cans of bacon for sterilization in a saucepan and send over low heat. Processing should last from 1 to 2 hours. Only then is each container rolled up.

The final step is to arrange the cans with the lid down on the towel. In this position, the seaming should stand until it cools down. When this finally happens, the lard can be removed to the cellar or refrigerator for long-term storage.
