So, at the request of the police, the main pistol of the organs should be light, compact, the same size as the PM (including in order not to have to change the holster). The pistol must have a sufficient magazine capacity and a caliber of 9x19 mm. Several weapons claim the role of the new main pistol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Russia, but the creators of the PLC came closest to the stated requirements.

It is quite obvious that Lebedev's Pistol will become a worthy replacement for the “veteran” Makarov. The weapon uses 9x19 mm cartridges, is loaded with magazines for 14 or 16 rounds, has a mass of 0.72 kg without cartridges, and most importantly, it is really compact. Lebedev shows himself excellently in practice shooting. Particularly pleasing is the very soft trigger, which makes firing from the PLC simple and enjoyable.
