I took large plastic bottles of 5 and 10 liters, and made chic flowerpots for the garden

Hello friends and guests of the channel!

A couple of years ago, I made a couple of flowerpots for the garden from large plastic bottles, from 5 and 10 liters. The result is a very interesting and attractive result with a small investment of materials and efforts.

Here's what I needed:

1. Bottles 5 and 10 liters;

2. Marker, sandpaper, knife, scissors;

3. Hot glue;

4. Solvent;

5. Self-tapping screws, screwdriver;

6. Spray paint and varnish.

As you can see, there are not many materials at all. I use automotive paints in spray cans, the cheapest, which cost about 100 rubles per spray can. The varnish is the same.

Step 1.

I cut the bottles into 3 parts, left the upper and lower parts, threw out the middle.

Step 2.

I carefully processed the cut points and the bottles themselves so that the paint lay down better.

Step 3.

Temporarily glued 2 parts of the bottle together with hot glue.

Step 4.

With self-tapping screws, I securely fastened both parts of the future flowerpots. The plastic is soft and the self-tapping screws are quite easy to screw with a straight screwdriver, a screwdriver is not needed.

The flowerpots turned out to be collapsible into 2 parts, they simply unscrew from each other.

Step 5.

I made holes to drain the water using a soldering iron. You can use a heated nail or knife.

Step 6.

He degreased the flowerpots with solvent and painted both black from a spray can.

Step 7.

Using the dry brush method, I painted one pot with bronze paint, the second with silver.

Step 8.

I sprinkled the flowerpots with spray varnish.

Done, these healthy flowerpots turned out literally out of nothing!

And here are some more crafts from plastic bottles, take a look:
