Hello friends!
In a construction supermarket I saw plastic rugs that cost only 119 rubles, and I immediately the thought came to my mind, why not buy a few pieces and use them as fill molds concrete? So he did, bought 4 pieces and made a cool path for the garden in a few days.
This is what I used:
· Plastic rugs;
· Screening (or small crushed stone);
· Cement, sand;
· Rubber hammer;
· Vegetable oil;
· Mesh;
· Trough, hoe, shovel;
For screenings, I better use crayons and sand content. I used cement grade M400. I didn't have a suitable old mesh or other scrap metal for reinforcement, so I used a new mesh. But it took very little.
The solution was made in a ratio of 2 to 1. 2 parts dropout and 1 part cement. I added water to the "eye" to regulate the desired liquid of the solution.
How much materials and money did it take? Let's make a rough estimate.
4 forms (round up to 120 rubles) - 480 rubles, about half a bag of cement - 150 rubles, grids per 100 rubles, dropping out a bag 4 - 150 rubles, sand for leveling 3 bags - 120 rubles. Total: 1000 rubles.
Step 1.
I mixed 2 parts of the dropout with 1 part of the cement, added water and mixed the solution.
Step 2.
I cut the mesh to the required size.
Step 3.
He greased the forms with vegetable oil and set them on a level.
Step 4.
Before pouring, the solution was thoroughly mixed again. He filled the molds with a solution, leveled them and vibrated them with a hammer.
Covered with plastic and left to dry for a couple of days. Cover with polyethylene so that the solution dries more slowly. It is a known fact that the slower the cement dries, the more strength it gains.
Step 5.
After 48 hours, I removed the first tiles, it turned out very cool! The tiles were removed from the molds very easily.
After casting the required number of tiles, I let them settle and dry well for another couple of days.
Step 6.
Prepared a place for the future track. I removed the excess, cut the soil a little with a hoe, poured sand and leveled it.
Step 7.
He tamped the sand with a bucket filled with screenings. I don't have a rammer.
Poured water over the sand.
Step 8.
I laid the path by hammering it with a rubber mallet, like a paving stone.
Step 9.
After I finished the path, I sprinkled it with water again.
Here's a garden path turned out.
In total, I had to cast 16 tiles, which turned out to be about 8 meters of track. He did it slowly, slowly cast the tiles in a week, and laid the path in a couple of hours.
