It is difficult to find a person who, over the past year, has never put on a medical mask in connection with well-known events. At the same time, many people must also wear glasses for reasons of low vision. Those who are forced to combine the wearing of these two accessories are faced with the problem of fogging the glasses. In the Soviet army, every soldier who visited the KMB knew the solution to this problem. But the Soviet army has been gone for more than 30 years, so we will have to tell you how this is done.

When wearing a medical mask, glasses fog up for one simple reason: warm air begins to rise through the gap between the mask and the face, which the person exhales. It passes through the glasses, leaving condensation on the glass, which becomes the cause of cloudiness. A direct "relative" of the combination of a medical mask-glasses is the good old Soviet gas mask. When performing active physical activities and frequent breathing, glasses in old gas masks also had an unpleasant habit of fogging up. Not only many Soviet soldiers faced this, but even children and adolescents who participated in the lessons of basic military training.

To solve the described problem, you will need ordinary laundry soap. All you need to do is to rub the glasses of your glasses (well, or a gas mask) with it, after which you can completely forget about condensation on the glasses for the next few days. Likewise, you can use not only soap, but also shaving foam. However, it will have to be thoroughly rubbed into the glass with a clean, dry cloth. Of course, the inside of the glasses should be rubbed with soap or foam.

By the way, few people know, but in Soviet gas mask bags there were special pencils that were used to rub the inner surface of the glasses with a special hydrophobic composition. Special pencils did the same thing as laundry soap. The only problem was that already in the first year after the release, these pencils were simply lost by the soldiers and in the future they were not in the gas mask bags.
