Unusual renovation of a 52 m² studio for rent, which is always booked months in advance

Designers from the studio Lauri Brothers designed an apartment with an area of ​​52 m² for rent. The interior combines loft and minimalism motives, using bright colors and contrasting solutions.

Living room

As a result of the redevelopment, the kitchen was combined with the living room, and the bedroom was moved to a niche, the usable area was increased by attaching a loggia.
The decoration used contrasting combinations and motifs of the loft. The concrete texture was preserved on the ceiling, and the wiring was left open.
The open space of the kitchen-living room is zoned by a load-bearing column and an open shelving unit.
As a result of the redevelopment, the kitchen was combined with the living room, and the bedroom was moved to a niche, the usable area was increased by attaching a loggia.

Kitchen

Square tiles were used as flooring in the kitchen. She was placed in the bathroom and hallway. And for the apron, they bought rectangular tiles of 10 × 20 cm. The ceiling was slightly lowered and painted in a terracotta shade.

The set with contrasting black facades was lined up in a linear fashion. The upper tier was abandoned so as not to clutter up the space. The plinth was "drowned" to create the feeling of "floating".
Two-level island - the bar counter is simultaneously part of the kitchen and dining room. It was placed at the junction of the floor coverings. The hob was moved to the island part, thanks to which it was possible to observe the rule of the working triangle.

Bedroom

The bedroom was moved to a niche and hidden behind sliding glass doors. A double bed and additional storage sections are located in a small area. If desired, the doorway can be closed with a curtain.

Hallway

The main storage system - a built-in wardrobe - was placed in the hallway. It took up the entire length of the corridor. As in the living room, the facades were matched to the walls so as not to split up the space.

Bathroom

The walls in the bathroom were tiled with granite-like tiles. The shower area was placed in a niche. A storage system was installed above the installation. The contrast was brought in by the black pieces of furniture, fittings and plumbing.
