In the fall, I really want to please myself with various fruits, for example, apples, pears, plums, but, unfortunately, these plants are susceptible to various diseases that can interfere with maturation fruits. There are still several types of pests that will try to eat the fruit before ripening. The most common unwanted guests in the middle of summer are scab, leaf spots and fruit rot.

SCAB

Experienced gardeners will not confuse scab with anything. It manifests itself as spots, pustules and ulcers on the leaves of fruit-bearing trees. Scab not only affects the appearance of the fruit, but also worsens the condition of trees: weakens them, trees shed fruits, leaves and become a source of infection for all closely growing fruit trees.

MONILIOSIS OR FRUIT ROT

It affects absolutely all plants in the garden, is carried by wind, rain and insects. An infection that can ruin almost the entire crop in the garden. A solution of iodine helps from this disease, in a ratio of 10 ml per 10 liters of water. It is necessary to spray the entire garden with such a solution, and burn the affected fruits to avoid recurrence of infection.

LEAF SPOTS

You need to monitor the condition of the leaves on your fruit trees. When incomprehensible spots appear, of which there are more and more, you need to take action. Cut off all affected branches urgently, and treat the remaining ones with the "Skor" preparation. If less than a month is left before the fruits ripen, then all of them will have to be destroyed, since we are talking about preserving the tree itself, and not the harvest of this year. It is better to sacrifice little than everything.

PODOZHORKA

This insect is very difficult to find due to its nondescript appearance. It lays eggs in the spring, then caterpillars appear in the summer, which eat the fruits. Moreover, the caterpillars fall to the ground with damaged fruits, then climb up the trunk again and eat the next fruits. If you did not carry out prophylaxis in the spring, then install trapping belts in the summer, be sure to remove fallen fruits and treat the trees exclusively with biological insecticides or folk means.

APHID

This pest can affect your trees from spring to autumn, but it is easy to spot. Aphids eat leaves, weakens fruit trees to such an extent that the tree withers and loses fruit. If in the spring you can still use chemical agents, then in the middle of summer only folk and biological ones.

FRUIT SAWER

These pests have an interesting feature in that adults feed only on nectar, and the larvae eat up to 6 fruits per day. The main way to combat the sawfly is prevention in the form of watering fruit trees a week before flowering with biological pesticides.

In order not to face the problems of affecting your fruit trees with diseases and pests, observe all rules for caring for plants and be especially attentive to the prevention of infection of fruiting plants in your garden.
