Designer Elizaveta Tkacheva designed a 36 m² euro-apartment with a mezzanine floor for a family with two children. The customers wanted a light and airy interior, in which it would be comfortable to relax and spend time together. But storage space was not required, since the housing is used only during trips to the resort.

Planning before and after
Before redevelopment. To fit all the necessary functionality into 36 m², we had to resort to a trick. To equip the nursery, a mezzanine floor was built. Thanks to this, the useful area of the apartment has increased by 5 m².
After redevelopment. They also decided to isolate the parents' bedroom. It is separated from the kitchen-living room by a partition, partially made of glass. To maintain the height of the ceiling, it was only plastered and painted.

Living room
In an unusual way, they approached the zoning - the living room from the hallway is delimited by a partition of thick ropes that are attached to the floor and ceiling. In addition, the functional area was delineated with a carpet.
The sunny sofa can be called the compositional center of the combined kitchen-living room. The beveled outer corner of the bathroom made it possible to comfortably place the TV.
The beam on the ceiling performs not only a decorative function, it contains the air conditioner track. The fixtures are connected with a retro-style electric cable.

Kitchen
The kitchen set was positioned L-shaped. Washing by the window is one of the wishes of the customers. The glass fronts of the wall cabinets helped to visually lighten the interior.
The role of the dining table is played by the bar counter, which is illuminated by lamps on the ropes. The slate covering on the wall helped to highlight this area.
Bedroom
The decoration of the bedroom adhered to a loft theme. On the walls, they combined plaster and brick in the form of continents.
Here is the only storage system - a wardrobe at the head of the bed. Sports equipment and bedding are kept there. Its facades combined the texture of wood and a metal lattice.

Children
A staircase leads from the hallway to the children's bedroom on the mezzanine floor. The steps were arranged in a "goose step" to save space. And the metal frame, on which the railing is fixed, prevents it from falling when lifting. A backlight was installed in the wall as the height increased.
The small room is for sleeping only. There was only room for a couple of industrial-style beds and shelves. The parents' bedroom is already located behind the rope net.

Bathroom
The bathroom was decorated in gray-brown tones. The shower area was separated by a partition made of glass blocks. The loft style was supported by metallized tiles and a sink cabinet with a pipe frame. Orange washbasins became a bright accent.
