These long flexible stem lamps are sold under many names, but they seem to have the same filling. I measured the parameters of the light of this lamp and they are not encouraging.
I was looking for a solution to make a comfortable light for shooting objects on a table. Now I use two IKEA TERTIAL table lamps, but they lack degrees of freedom: often impossible position the lamps so that there are no shadows at the same time and the lamp is not reflected in the glossy surface of the photographed object. I thought that the ideal solution would be bulbs with flexible legs, and while searching I came across these selfie bulbs. The lamp is attached to the table with a clothespin, a 9 cm luminous ring is fixed on a flexible leg, 52 cm long. This makes it possible to raise the lamp above the table to a height of 40 cm.
I have seen such lamps on sale under different brands, but all of them are united by a box labeled "Professional Live Stream".
The lamp is powered by USB and has such a remote control on the wire.
The lamp does not light up when power is applied. You need to press the power button, after which the cold light turns on. The arrow button switches three modes in a circle - cold, warm, neutral. In the "neutral" mode, the lamp shines twice as bright, since both "warm" and "cold" LEDs are on at the same time. The "+" and "-" buttons change the brightness of the lamp.
I measured the lamp consumption, illumination on the table surface, luminous flux, color parameters.
In the mode of maximum brightness of neutral light, the lamp gives 600 lux on the table surface when it is located at a height of 40 cm and 1000 lux when it is at a height of 30 cm. This is not enough - my lamps give 900 lux from a distance of 40 cm and 1400 lux from 30 cm. In the modes of warm and cold light, everything is completely sad, the lamp barely shines.
Unfortunately, they saved a lot on LEDs - they have bad CRI (Ra) 70-71 color rendering indices and extremely low efficiency - about 36 lm / W (for modern LED lamps, the efficiency reaches 150 lm / W).
Probably the best photo light on a flexible mount can be made from this lamp, if you do not turn it on, but in the hole "light ring" insert an ordinary bright bulb-pear with a socket and plug it into the network (the size is just fits). :)
