Over the years, I have become an absolute introvert, I like being in silence, all alone. Therefore, I am pleased with the presence of abandoned plots in the vicinity of my summer cottage.
The only problem is the weed seeds that fly from there. But if you cut the grass, then the problem is eliminated. But the absence of neighbors saves me from such unpleasant moments as loud music, screams, crying children, barking of other people's dogs, etc.
Isn't it wonderful?
To my left live kind and quiet old men. Their adult children left for the city long ago, and their grandchildren come very rarely and do not cause trouble. Neighbors are busy in the garden, behave peacefully and friendly. I buy milk, root vegetables and vegetables from them. The neighbors who used to live to the right of my house moved out more than 10 years ago.
They left a plot of land with an area of 12 acres. The most amazing thing is that there are no applicants for this land, almost nothing is left of the fence. And so I could not restrain myself.
On an abandoned neighborhood site, I conduct my simple experiments.
Naturally, my conscience does not allow me to make capital beds on someone else's plot, put greenhouses or flower beds. But on the other hand, I successfully grow seedlings, which I then plant on my site. Also, in a neighboring plot, I stick in seedlings. So it is easier for me to understand where to transplant them later. In addition, there is time to prepare the place for the seedlings.
I make small places for seedlings as follows: in the spring I put cardboard on them, which I urinate and cover with earth. Flowers grow beautifully in such places. Simple, convenient and fast!
It is more difficult to do such manipulations on your site, because there is a chance to forget what and where I grow. If, out of forgetfulness, I weed the beds, then I may be left without flowers. In an abandoned neighboring area, the plants feel great, get stronger and grow.
Also, the neighboring territory can be used for storing building materials. Thanks to this, space is freed up on my own site, I stopped constantly stumbling over boards and bricks. Workers don't care where to get the materials from, but it's much more convenient for me!
Even if the owners of the site suddenly appear, I do not think that they will be very indignant. In fact, I did not break anything, did not change, did not build, did not take away. Thanks to my intervention, the site, on the contrary, is always under supervision, and I regularly mow the grass.
I would like to believe that the owners will not return in the coming years!
