Layout
The layout was made a studio. The bedroom was separated by a glass partition, but visually it is perceived as part of the kitchen-living room. A concrete screed was used as a floor covering throughout the apartment, it was sanded and covered with semi-gloss paint. On the walls - paintable putty. Wall panels made of moldings in the color of the floor acted as an additional decor. The uniform finish has made the interior more cohesive.
The silhouette of the sofa with wooden legs and armrests is reminiscent of models from the Soviet past. Corresponds to it is a curbstone against the wall opposite, which was used as a platform for the demonstration of art objects and decorative elements.
The carpet on the floor adds coziness and softness, as well as the warm light of the lamps in the evenings.
Kitchen
The kitchen area was highlighted with a contrasting color. The facades were also matched to the gray shade of the walls. A mini fridge and freezer are located in the lower tier cabinets. A wooden tabletop with sides also acts as an apron. It was made to order from ash.
The dining group was placed equidistant from the kitchen and living room. The massive round table and vintage chairs are a nod to the mid-century style.
Bedroom
In the bedroom, the wall panels have lost their vertical moldings. The area of the room made it possible to equip a workplace in it. The black industrial-style desk and chair made an unusual symbiosis with a la Soviet bedside tables.
Despite the abundance of gray colors, the interior does not look gloomy or dull. Tall windows contribute to this in many respects, they allow more sunlight to enter.
Hallway
In the hallway, the wall panels are replaced by a high "plinth", in this role is a strip of paint in the color of the floor. To the left of the entrance, an elongated "pocket" was provided, where the main storage system was placed.
The double-leaf entrance door is framed by a portal with rounded edges, it reminds of the historical value of the building.
Bathroom
In the bathroom, they combined white tiles and dark gray paint. To erase the boundaries between the planes, the ceiling was also made dark. A little warmth was added by a wooden tabletop with sides, under which a cabinet, a washing machine and a laundry basket were hidden.
