Today my electric meter was changed for free with an expired calibration interval. At the same time, one unpleasant thing became clear.
Earlier, as soon as the electric meter ended the calibration interval (MPI), Energosbyt began persistently offering to replace the meter, because the owner of the apartment had to pay for it.
From July 1, 2020, the government has obliged electric power companies to change meters free of charge.
But Mosenergosbyt still found a way to try to "cut" money from the population.
Counters are changed to electronic, multi-tariff.
In this case, the meter can be programmed for 1-, 2- or 3-tariff metering. They are programmed in advance for such accounting as the old meter had. That is, an old disk one-rate tariff will be changed to an electronic one, but the accounting will remain one-rate.
Today I called Mosenergosbyt and found out whether it is possible to make a one-rate or two-rate meter changed to a three-tariff (I studied the question of which accounting is more profitable, and it turned out that in Moscow the three-tariff profitable:
https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1040013.html).They replied that with a free meter replacement, the tariff cannot be changed. You can only after the replacement call +74995503377 and order a reprogramming of the meter for 1500 rubles.
By the way, it is interesting that from July 1, 2020, they should not just install meters for free, but install "smart metering devices" that automatically transmit readings. But something went wrong: they put the usual "Mercury" on me and said that maybe then an additional module with a SIM card would be connected to it to transmit readings.
For some reason I thought that since they were changing the meters, they would change to three-rate ones, but no.
