The Dixie store is closest to my house, but I haven't been going there for a long time.
Recently there was a downpour and I decided to go along the way.
I realized that the main secret of Dixie is the prices of goods. :)
Of the nine products I bought, only six had price tags, and two had the wrong ones. At the same time, there are no scanners in the hall, and there are no scoreboards for buyers at the checkout counters.
It seems that everything has been done so that the buyer does not know the price.
For those goods for which there were no price tags, I asked the cashier for prices. But he didn't ask for everything. There were four price tags on the bread tray: 36.99, 43.99, 31.49, and 37.49. I took the freshest bread, being sure that the price is one of four. But no, the check is 51.90.
There was a special offer for the sausage and a yellow price tag: 99.99.
But the check is 169.90. They inflated 91 kopecks for 69 rubles.
Unfortunately, I saw this when I was already at home and partially ate that sausage.
Perhaps they weren't even on purpose. I understand perfectly well that there are few employees there and they do not have time to change the price tags. But if there was a scoreboard at the checkout, I would see that the price of sausage is not at all promotional, and I would not take it. And if there were scanners in the hall, it would be possible to see the prices of those goods where there are no price tags.
But so far both are not present, I am not in Dixie anymore!
