Designer Evgeniya Demidova designed a 38 m² studio for a couple. The residential complex is located on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. The apartment is intended for temporary visits to the countryside.

  • total area: 38 m²
  • A place: St. Petersburg
  • House type: RC "Russian Seasons"
  • Number of rooms: Studio
  • Budget: 1.15 million rubles
  • Who lives here: married couple
  • Designer: Evgeniya Demidova

Layout

The studio was rented out with a fine finish from the developer. The task of the designer was to equip this space, to make it comfortable and cozy.
The original layout was not changed, but the loggia was slightly modified: since the windows were too high, the floor level was raised by 40 cm.

Living room

The soft group was placed on a jute carpet, which united the living room compositionally. Despite neutral colors in decoration and furniture, the space doesn't look boring. This was achieved due to the variety of textures - macrame pillows, armchairs upholstered in artificial sheepskin, velor sofa.

The color accent was brought by a painting called "Summer", the designer wrote it herself.
A lounge area was set up on the balcony. Mirrors on the end walls create the illusion of an endless corridor and direct even more natural light into the apartment. And the green wall seems to be a continuation of the landscape outside the window.

Kitchen

The working area in the kitchen was highlighted with tiles. The headset was built L-shaped. Hanging cabinets were dropped to make space easier. Considering that customers do not live in the apartment permanently, they did not need a lot of storage space.

The dining group was moved to the opposite wall. There was also a place for a small sideboard, the wall behind it was decorated with wooden slats.

Hallway

As in the kitchen area, tiles were used to decorate the floor in the hallway. A tall built-in wardrobe with mezzanines is the main storage system in the apartment. A wicker garden chair has taken the place of a traditional pouf or a banquette: it is more in line with the style of the interior.

Bathroom

Initially, the bathroom had a bathtub, but the customers preferred to replace it with a shower cabin. For finishing the pallet, wood-like porcelain stoneware was used. It echoes with other wood elements and adds warmth and vibrancy to the finish.
