Designers Svetlana Melnikova and Ekaterina Korshunova designed a 30 m² studio for rent. Initially, the customers wanted to get a loft-style space, but after talking with the designers, they abandoned this idea. The main credo of the resulting interior was comfort and functionality.

  • total area: 30 m²
  • A place: St. Petersburg
  • Number of rooms: Studio
  • Ceiling height: 2.9 m
  • Who lives here: For Rent
  • Budget: 1.7 million rubles

Layout

Competent planning made it possible to fit the maximum number of zones into a small area: a full-fledged sleeping place, a spacious kitchen with a dining room, a workplace and even a folding sofa.

Living room

On the walls in the room, sand-colored gypsum plaster and paintable wallpaper were combined. The ceiling was also covered with "Rotband", this made it possible to visually blur the border between the two planes.

The living area is quite small. The sofa-couch converts into a single bed. The wall at its end was highlighted with wood panels. Posters were used as decor.
There is a workplace nearby. A vertical strip of porcelain stoneware on the wall helps to zone the room.

Kitchen

The kitchen was built next to the window. It contains the necessary minimum: a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a two-burner stove and a sink. The beveled corner was covered with shelves. Thanks to this solution, inexpensive standard cabinets from IKEA came up.

The dining group was placed opposite. The black legs of the dining table echo the facades of the headset. The set of wicker chairs looks airy. Another "light" addition is a series of low, shallow cabinets with glass fronts, which act as a sideboard.

Bedroom

The sleeping place was arranged behind a partition, its upper lattice part lets in natural light. When the sun is shining into the apartment, solar stripes appear on the walls, like from a pergola. A suspension with a lattice shade also adds a cozy touch - it has a similarity to a hanging fireplace, if you do not take into account the size.

Open shelves took the place of the bedside tables, and a tall cabinet was placed in a free corner.

Hallway

Niches for built-in wardrobes with louvered doors were provided in the hallway and immediately upon entering the room. They are shallow, so they didn't "eat" a lot of space. High platbands on the door portal help to visually raise the ceiling.

Bathroom

The concrete walls in the bathroom were present initially. They were primed and painted. On the floor and in the "wet" areas, they used stone-like porcelain stoneware, and the installation box was sheathed with wood-like tiles - this is how they combined warm and cold textures.

The mirrored built-in wardrobe contains a water heater and a washing machine. Swinging entrance doors became a special "highlight".
