I don’t know about you, but I noticed that people have long ceased to make a rough floor. For what reasons has this type of work lost its relevance? I tried to figure it out.

Why did many people stop making a rough floor and forget about it, although it is the solution to many problems
No house has ever been complete without a wooden floor. During the renovation, it served as a base, which was covered from above with linoleum, tiles, etc. Also, the wood floor was often refurbished to make it look beautiful again.

To give wood floorboards new life, they were sanded and then varnished. Such a floor looks stylish, expensive and can decorate absolutely any interior.

Often, customers refuse to use the subfloor, explaining that it takes a lot of money to equip it. And many ordinary people agree with this opinion.

But I believe that there are much more positive aspects to arranging a sub-floor than negative ones.

  • 1. About 40 millimeters of empty space remains between the finishing and subfloor, in which you can place communications, stretch electrical wires, etc.

The plus is that it will not be difficult to get to communications.

  • 2. Pouring clean floors is a very dirty job, after which cleaning takes more than one day. But after the installation of the subfloor, there is almost no dust and dirt.
  • 3. The sub floor can be insulated.

You also need to mention the environmental friendliness of the tree.

In general, I have not been able to understand why people began to neglect the rough floor. Some put plywood sheets on the floor, but that's another story.

I have a rough floor on both floors of the country house, and I am very happy about that. I will say that these works were not worth too exorbitant amounts of money.

If you love the rough floor as much as I love it, write in the comments!
