Architects Valeria Khusnutdinova and Ekaterina Astafieva designed a 37 m² studio for rent. The interior was done in calm sandy and gray shades and dotted with saturated colors. A young blogger settled in the apartment.

  • total area: 37 m²
  • Place: Moscow
  • House type: RC "Tsarskaya Square"
  • Ceiling height: 2.65-2.9 m
  • Number of rooms: Studio
  • Budget: 2 million rubles
  • Who lives here: For Rent
  • Authors of the project: Valeria Khusnutdinova and Ekaterina Astafieva (studio Ingresso Interiors)

Layout

They decided to make the layout a studio, so as not to split up an already small space. Since the apartment will be rented out, the main criteria when choosing materials were reliability and resistance to pollution. The renovation work was large-scale: they made a screed, hydro and sound insulation.

Rest zone

The relaxation area includes a bedroom with a full double bed and a mini-living room with a sofa. To zone the space, they used furniture: a rack on the border with the hallway and the head of the bed on the border with the kitchen. It is convenient to watch TV from almost anywhere in the apartment.

Porcelain stoneware with a terrazzo pattern was used as the flooring, the walls were painted in a sandy shade. A wide white edging was kept under the ceiling to visually make the room wider.

Kitchen

The kitchen set was lined up along two walls: a standard lower tier without a top was put in one by one, and a row of shallow but high pencil cases on the other. The partition with the bathroom was planned in such a way that a niche for the refrigerator appeared.

The dining group was moved to the bedroom partition. The light above the dining table and its exposed wiring add a graphic touch to the space.
The facades for the pencil cases and the cabinet above the refrigerator were matched to the walls in order to visually dissolve them in space. And the doors of the lower block were accentuated. Due to the absence of wall cabinets, the bright color does not look superfluous.

Hallway

For convenience, a small floor hanger and a pouf were placed at the entrance. One of the walls was sheathed with mirrored panels to visually increase the space. Further along the corridor, there is a corner wardrobe - the main storage system in the apartment. It has a section for storing household items.

Bathroom

A partition was planned in the bathroom, thanks to which several niches were formed. One was taken under the shower room, the second was fitted with a countertop with an overhead sink. In another niche, a utility block with a washing machine and a storage system was equipped. Two types of tiles were used for finishing and paint in "non-wet" areas.
