It is necessary to start treating the garden against the development of diseases in the spring, when the trees have not yet awakened from their winter sleep and the process of sap flow has not begun. Consequently, the likelihood of harming trees is much less. This also applies to pests - they are still dormant and the time has not come for reproduction.
Temperature
Spraying is considered one of the most effective ways to treat a tree or bush. Do not do this until the temperature is above freezing. Gardeners recommend spraying at a temperature of 5 degrees with a plus sign. It needs a stable temperature throughout the day.

- Prepare for work: remove debris and weeds, prune. All garbage is burned.
- Trees should be stripped of leaves and then moss and lichens removed.
- Dig up the soil and loosen it in the trunk circle.

For old bushes
Usually old shrubs have a large number of shoots. First you need to remove all dry and diseased branches. To save the solution, the shoots are tied and sprayed in a shock. Try not to damage the branches.
The use of chemicals
Spring spraying is done in different ways.
- Bordeaux liquid. The first time is sprayed before bud break, then after they bloom to the bud stage.
- Copper sulfate. For the treatment of garden plantings in spring, copper sulfate is an effective remedy. It has properties similar to Bordeaux liquid. They contain copper sulfate. These drugs do not need to be used at the same time, you must choose one of them. It is worth remembering that the solution should only be diluted in a plastic or glass container. Copper sulfate is easier to dissolve in hot water.
- Inkstone. In autumn, ferrous sulfate is more effective, but it is also used in spring. This remedy is well suited for eradicating treatment. At the same time, it helps to get rid of lichens and mosses, and also negatively affects the larvae of pests. Never mix iron and copper sulfate with solid soap. It is best if it is a liquid dishwashing detergent.
