Designer Ekaterina Kotlyarova designed a 40 m² euro-apartment. They took the neoclassical style as a basis. One of the main wishes of our customers is a lot of mirrors.

  • total area: 40 m²
  • Place: Rostov-on-Don
  • Number of rooms: euro two
  • Ceiling height: 2.8 m
  • Designer: Ekaterina Kotlyarova
  • Photo: Ekaterina Kablukova
  • Stylist: Marina Guseva

Layout

The small area was compensated for by visual techniques: light colors and mirrors were used. The kitchen-living room was zoned with a partition made of wooden boards with built-in shelves.

Living room

To decorate the room, they used beige paint with a pinkish undertone, and laid porcelain stoneware on the floor. The accent wall behind the sofa has been decorated with a floral mural.

The windowsill was supplemented with a pair of bar stools so that one could have breakfast behind it. A non-functional corner next to the sofa was decorated with a tall living plant.

Kitchen

The headset was built L-shaped. Wall cabinets have been supplemented with mezzanines to provide additional storage space. In the side section on the right, under the oven, there is a washing machine.

The boundaries of the dining area were marked with a mirrored panel. The table was made to order according to individual dimensions so that it does not interfere with the passage.

Bedroom

The wall at the head was decorated with a fresco. Birds on it resonate with decor items. Furniture of rounded shapes became the highlight of the bedroom: chest of drawers, dressing table, bedside tables. They make the interior softer.

A spacious wardrobe was planned at the entrance. Its mirrored doors visually blur the boundaries - the accent wall seems to continue behind the wardrobe.

Hallway

A lot of free space has been saved in the hallway. A dressing room was provided for things. The door leading there was lined with mirrors on both sides. The storage system inside was custom made.

Bathroom

For the decoration of the bathroom, marble-like porcelain stoneware was used. Functional storage was organized in niches: above the installation - a built-in mirrored wardrobe, next to the curbstone - open shelves.
