What can be said about cucumbers

In the middle lane, cucumbers are planted in three ways: seedlings, in open soil, in a greenhouse. Many people like to plant cucumbers in open soil rather than tinkering with seedlings. If the earth has warmed up to 13-16 degrees, then you can safely do this work. In central Russia, as a rule, the land warms up to the required temperature only towards the end of May.

Sowing cucumbers in a greenhouse should be carried out about a month before planting in open ground. If you plan to plant seedlings of cucumbers, then you need to remember - it should be no more than 30 days, and preferably 18-25. You need to plant cucumbers 3 weeks before the expected landing date.

A few words about pumpkin

Usually the pumpkin is planted directly in the ground. They do not plant it in the greenhouse, because it grows there a lot. Folk omens say that when peonies and viburnum bloom, this is the most favorable time for sowing pumpkins. If we take into account the middle lane, this time falls at the end of May. It must be remembered that pumpkin is very thermophilic and is afraid of cold weather, so it is better not to rush to plant it. Wait until the ground warms up well, then you can plant pumpkin seeds.

About our favorite zucchini

In general, pumpkin and zucchini are plants that are easy to care for, it is not for nothing that they are close relatives. Sowing zucchini in the soil is possible only when the earth warms up to 12-14 degrees, and the night temperature does not drop below 8 degrees. A little trick: for good germination, cover the soil with a film a week before planting. After sowing, do not remove the film until the first shoots appear.

Zucchini seedlings are planted very rarely. Still, it is an unpretentious culture that gives little trouble. In addition, these plants are actively bearing fruit. For a family of 4-5 people, it is enough to grow a few zucchini bushes for food.
