I often have to dismantle old plumbing fixtures, install new ones. Such work! I am very familiar with blockages. When they show on TV an advertisement for another "super-remedy" that should permanently solve the problem of blockages, I just smile.

If you ask any plumber, he will certainly say that you can remove the blockage only by cleaning the siphon. Kitchen sinks suffer the most from this problem.

Obviously, not every housewife will go under the sink, decide to disassemble and clean the siphon. Frankly, not even every adult man is able to cope with this task. For this, there are professionals in their field.

But you can't call the plumbing all the time - it's expensive and inconvenient. Therefore, housewives simply stock up on various chemicals that are imposed on them from TV screens.

I have a very effective and very simple method that I advise everyone to use for blockages. I will say that you will need the help of an experienced plumber, but only once. You need to ask him to install a special siphon. By the way, some plumbers may not be aware of the method described below. If such a specialist comes to you, share your secret with him!

The method consists of a specific design of the siphon. It is better to install to kitchen sinks corrugated siphonsafter bending them into a "zigzag". The result is a so-called water seal.

To keep the bend tight, you can fix it with a plastic jumper. But you can completely do without it.

Some plumbers disagree with me. They argue that this design can lead to various problems. For example, water will not drown out the unpleasant odor coming from the sewer. This statement is quite justified, but only if the zigzag is under the sink in the bathroom or under the bathroom itself. In this case, the designs are just cramped.

But there is often enough space under the kitchen sink, which allows you to bend the corrugation as you like.

With a blockage, you just need to get to the bend and shake it a little. The water in the sink will immediately start flowing down the drain. A few seconds and the problem is solved!

Note that for these purposes you need to use 50mm corrugation. Smaller pipes tend to clog up more often.

Here is such an elementary, but very effective method. Try it yourself! I would be glad if you share your experience in the comments!
